The Frankenstein Project website was built by an interdisciplinary group of students at Georgia Tech to illustrate Mary Shelley’s literary legacy.

The primary goal of this project is to illustrate the impact of Shelley’s nineteenth-century novel Frankenstein on two important twentieth-century literary traditions: feminist utopian writing and science fiction.

Other goals of the project include:
- Promoting a greater understanding of the relations between science, technology, and culture
- Highlighting research resources related to the study of literature and science at Georgia Tech
- Making connections with other scholars and artists in both the greater Georgia Tech intellectual community and beyond.
