Miller's paintings and drawings depict subjects of mass culture through color and spatial ambiguity. One of his pieces features Boris Karloff's Frankenstein, which for many is the quintessential version of the Monster. Rendered in thick oil paint, the language of half tone screens is turned on its head as the dots become three dimensional and cast shadows of their own.
